I loved learning film studies with Jay at Teach All About It for my GCSEs so much that I am carrying on for A level! The course helped me to achieve the grade that I really wanted. Great – tutors who understand the needs of their students

Enrolling on this course alongside my other independent studies has been brilliant and my knowledge/passion for film studies has certainly grown as a result. Jay was great at adapting certain elements of the course to suit my own unique schedule and needs, for otherwise tackling a GCSE alongside all my other commitments would have been impossible. He was also sensitive and understanding when it came to recognising psychological needs during an intense time of COVID-19 restrictions etc. and Judith’s video recordings were so in-depth and entertaining, as well as instructive.

Outstanding experience and quality of teaching

How relieved I am to have signed up for the GCSE Film Studies with Teach All About It Film.
As a home educating parent with a full time job, I signed up hoping to get a bit of structure, and to avoid having to plan and deliver all the learning myself. But wow — we’ve got so much more than that!

The video materials are succinct and focused and deliver a lot in under half an hour each, and the learning platform is good and straightforward to use. But it’s the written feedback on weekly assignments which is the real gem — hugely in depth, entirely personalised, thoughtful, careful, interesting, motivational, structured and reassuring… I am honestly delighted by the quality of tailored feedback my son is receiving.

The team’s flexibility is also welcome: my son doesn’t thrive on video calls and skipping them for the moment is handled without fuss. A measure of success is that my son’s enthusiasm grows weekly with this encouragement and support. I would, without question, recommend!

Jay runs this GCSE film Studies course with great care and attention. The course is so thorough and well put together, delivered in inspiring lessons with tasks and then assignments.
